In Vilnius, the Christmas season begins in early December and ends January 6th. With two Christmas markets, a special video display, festively-decorated Vilnius embraces the holidays with gusto.
In between the the Green Gate and the Golden Gate on Gdańsk’s Long Lane are oodles of restaurants and shops. Gdańsk’s Old Town surprised and delighted us, making up for our weekend in Hel.
We had to visit Hel because we had so many questions. Are there a lot of accordions in Hel? What would it be like there? What’s there to do in Hel? Would it be hot in Hel? We were indeed surprised.
